The former No. 1 overall pick suffered the injury in a preseason loss to the Houston Rockets in Beijing on Wednesday.
The NBA season hasn't even begun yet, and New Orleans Pelicans All-Star big man Anthony Davis is already banged up again.
Davis was injured when he stepped on the foot of Rockets center Nene with 6:37 left to play in the first quarter of the contest. After a time-out, he briefly returned to the game before heading to the locker room.
Marc Spears of The Undefeated is reporting the injury is a grade 2 sprain, with Davis to be sidelined for 10-15 days.

The green shirts have brought in Babar Azam, who impressed the selectors with his three consecutive tons in the one day series. The team has already lost their morale, and with a few new players for this series, they are expected perform better.
"I know it's an ankle sprain, " Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry told reporters in China after the game. "I haven't talked to the trainers yet". After collecting 15 assists in Sunday's game in Shanghai, Harden had 8 assists last night in 24 minutes in Beijing.
Throughout training camp and into the preseason, the Pelicans monitored Davis' workload so he could avoid any possible injury setbacks before they open the regular season on October 26 against the Denver Nuggets at the Smoothie King Center.
On March 20, he was ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a left knee problem and a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
