Trump seeks coronation, Clinton confirmation as voting begins on Super Tuesday

A new CNN/ORC poll released Tuesday shows that if the presidential election were to take place now, Donald Trump would lose to both former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Sen.

And while the latest polls show Trump leads in Florida, Sen. Marco Rubio is a long shot to squeeze out his debut victory of the campaign after ditching his previously elevated and aspirational campaign to wage a bitter and personal war of words with Trump. Ted Cruz catch the Republican assignment for president.

Former President Bill Clinton is getting the rock star treatment as he stumps for his wife, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, in the MA presidential primary.

Oklahoma and MA are two states worth watching with close early poll numbers between Sanders and Clinton. And about a quarter of them, awarded proportionally, are decided on Super Tuesday.

Clinton, who leads her rival by a comfortable 17 percentage points has been at pains to present herself as the voice of reason... in contrast to the mudslinging among Republicans.

Texas is the big prize - an important one for Ted Cruz.

On the Democratic side, polls show Clinton, who has won three of the first four Democratic contests, with a big lead in six Southern states that have large blocs of black voters, who have been slow to warm to Sanders, a US senator from Vermont.

Republicans spent months largely letting Trump go unchallenged, wrongly assuming that his populist appeal with voters would fizzle.

Arkansas voters' choices may actually matter in presidential primary voting Tuesday after the most intense campaign in years brought a flurry of visits from candidates and a barrage of television ads.

Clinton in recent days has chosen to focus on Trump. Voters are about evenly split between Trump and Clinton on gun policy.

Democrats are more apt than Republicans to say they would support either of the remaining top candidates should they become the nominee.

Both the Democrats and the Republicans hold separate contests and each will end up with their own nominee.

He said voters who are not sure of where to vote can find their information online at www.voterview.org.

There are two major parties in America: the Republicans and the Democrats. Nearly 6-in-10 have a negative view of Trump, 59 percent with 38 percent favorable, and 53 percent have a negative view of Clinton, 44 percent see her positively.

Cruz likewise has a net negative rating, while impressions of Carson, Rubio and Kasich tilt positive. By November 27, Huffington Post's polling had Trump up by 5 percent, and Real Clear Politics by roughly 3 percent. There's been scant polling in the state, but one survey done at the beginning of February gave the senator from neighboring Texas a narrow advantage over Trump and Rubio, who were neck-and-neck.

Arkansas moved its primary forward this presidential election, increasing attention on the vote.

"What we can't let happen is the scapegoating, the blaming, the finger pointing that is going on on the Republican side, which not only sets a bad example, which as the congressman said, at least my mother would have said stop it. But it really undermines our fabric as a nation", Clinton told supporters at a rally on the eve of the next group of primaries.
