Collyer was giving evidence on the first day of the trial of Gable Tostee, who has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Wright. Tostee has said he was acting in self-defense.

Tostee has pleaded not guilty to murdering Ms Wright in the early hours of August 8, 2014 when she fell to her death from the 14th floor. "It doesn't fit", Mr Holt said.

"You're lucky I haven't chucked you off my balcony, you goddamn psycho little bitch", he is heard saying.

"I understand that, when a tragedy occurs, it is natural for people to want to blame someone, but the outcome of this was not something that I ever at any point could have expected, let alone intended, and I feel the utmost sympathy for the deceased and those close to her". If you try to pull anything I'll knock you out, I'll knock you the f-- out.

"I would, but you've been a bad girl".

Earlier, the court also heard Tostee called his father after Wright fell to her death and told him the pair had had sex.

Tostee claims Wright was violent towards him.

Cash said Tostee became angry after Wright threw some decorative rocks at him and hit him with a telescope.

"She was locked on the balcony with no other means of escape", Cash said.

"It doesn't matter he was inside", Cash added.

Warriena Wright from New Zealand fell from a 13th-floor Surfers Paradise unit to her death in 2014.

Other express an "end of days" sentiment, feeling that South Africa is not progressing due to is political drama and openly attacked Shaun Abrahams.

"A few seconds after that I heard a loud bang", Mr Evans told the court on Tuesday.

Holt went on to allege that Wright became aggressive and that Tostee had a right to defend his property.

Despite the police presence around his apartment building, Tostee apparently did not yet know Ms Wright had died.

The couple look happy and relaxed as they pose for a series of selfies, with Ms Wright, 26, making a peace sign with her fingers and pulling faces.

The jury heard that a recording made on Tostee's phone captured an altercation between the pair, as well as the fall.

"She kept beating me up and whatever", Tostee told his father in the recording.

When she first issued the cry, he responded: "I would, but you have been a bad girl".

'Oh my God, I hope she's not dead'.

"It doesn't matter he was inside. he bears responsibility for causing her death as much as if he had pushed or thrown her off the balcony". It's unclear what they did before heading back to Tostee's apartment, but the pair began drinking when they got there.

At around 2 a.m., according to neighbors, Tostee and Wright could be heard banging furniture around.

They spent time at Mr Tostee's Surfers Paradise apartment. Wright also allegedly expressed that she wanted to leave several times before that.
