Real Madrid coach Zidane blasts Hollande: Benze

With a front line including the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Karim Benzema, Zidane could maybe be forgiven for getting a little complacent, particularly as his side prepare to face minnows Legia Warsaw this week.

The Portugal defender played the full 90 minutes as the Champions League holders blew away their opposition after a rocky start in Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo remains two short of 100 career goals in European competition, but Bale, an own-goal by Tomasz Jodlowiec, and further strikes by Marco Asensio, Lucas Vazquez and Alvaro Morata sealed an emphatic victory in Group F.

Real couldn't have asked for a better opponent to try to keep its momentum in the Champions League.

Madrid made light work of their visitors despite initially looking a little shaky at the back, with Legia netting their first Champions League goal in 21 years to bring the score back to 2-1. He was almost lured away by Wolfsburg before this season but has been excellent in England in the absence of injured striker Harry Kane. - The Bundesliga side have lost nine of their last 10 Champions League games against English opposition, the exception being a 2-1 home win over Chelsea in November 2011. We have a very complete squad here at Madrid - it's a group with a lot of quality, those who enter the team and those who make way. The Polish side have already lost 6-0 to Borussia Dortmund and we all now that when Ronaldo smells the blood he becomes a "true killer".

"Last season we were not in this world, we were out of this world, " Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri said.

Floods kill 24 in Vietnam as Typhoon Sarika looms
Vietnamese officials warned of more floods and landslides to come as Typhoon Sarika regroups over the South China Sea. It could intensify into a super typhoon before hitting the Philippines during the second half of this week.

- Juventus is the only team yet to pick up a single card in this season's group stages. "He scored on Saturday and hopefully he will score again in the next match".

"I don't think we lowered our intensity".

It will be interesting seeing how Real Madrid adapt to playing in an empty stadium if nothing else.

At the other end of the spectrum, Dinamo Zagreb and Club Brugge join Legia in searching for their first points.

Next up for Real Madrid is a home league match against Athletic Bilbao this weekend, while Legia will attempt to return to winning ways in their domestic division when they host Lech Poznan.
